Elsie really got into all the Easter festivities this year. She loved Easter Eggs, she knows Peter Cottontail by heart, and she could not get enough of Easter Egg hunts. The week before Easter we were pretty busy and almost forgot to dye Easter Eggs. So Saturday night right before bed we busted out the dye and eggs and she loved it!
We did glitter egg dye this year because she just loves sparkles :)
On Easter Morning we woke up and did the whole egg and Easter basket hunt. You can check out pics on that here. After we finished up we got ready and headed over to Dale and Bev's to do an Easter brunch with them.
Of course there was another egg hunt (with Minnie Mouse shaped egg containers).
Elsie got some fun stuff in her Easter Basket from Grandma and Grandpa. A bubbles and a snail watering can.
And from Brandi, Todd, and the girls-some fun Minnie Mouse jewelry and Hello Kitty gardening set.
And after brunch another egg hunt ensued :) This time the big girls got to join Elsie.
After brunch we went over to John's Aunt Sandy's for Easter Dinner with his extended family! It was an absolutely beautiful day! We spent the afternoon outside playing, flying kites, and of course, another egg hunt for the little ones :)

Great Grandma Evelyn gave the little ones these cute little chicks. Elsie absolutely adores them!
It was such a wonderful day and a wonderful Easter. We are so blessed!
